The path to creating a more engaged, active society is being developed in a small office located at the north end of HUB Mall at the University of Alberta. The only thing is not very many students notice the office as they navigate their way towards an undergraduate degree. For some reason, even though its walls are painted neon green, not a very small proportion of U of A students know what kind of work the Alberta Public Interest Research Group (APIRG) does.
Today, CJSR goes where very few U of A students have gone before. On this episode of Non-Profits In Focus, we profile APIRG and the tremendous work that this non-profit organization is doing to create dialogue and action towards positive social change.
