Erin Konsmo talks about the Walking With Our Sisters is a commemorative art exhibit to honour missing or murdered Indigenous women in Canada and the United States. Consisting of 1,700 handcrafted moccasin uppers or "vamps" created by artists and family members from across Canada and around the world, the unfinished pieces represent the unfinished lives of missing or murdered Indigenous women and girls. The exhibit premieres in Edmonton at the Telus Centre Atrium at the University of Alberta from Oct. 2 - 13.
