Events!

We also talked about some of the awesome events from APIRG coming up.

Wednesday, March 10 - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex Toys (in partnership with HIV Edmonton)

Facilitated by Brenda from the Traveling Tickle Trunk, this workshop will guide you through choosing and using sex toys. With so much about sex toys in so many places, how do you know where to start? And who to trust? This workshop will help give you everything you need to know to get started in the wonderful world of toys - or to make your toy experiences even better.

Thursday, March 11 - Privilege and Marginalization in Organizing.

One of the most important things activists can do is acknowledge and address the ways in which they perpetuate oppression. This workshop will ask participants to reflect on their own organizing for social change, within group settings as well as larger community settings, and through an anti-colonial framework, look for solutions to the oppressions that occur every single day within progressive movements.

To register for any of these workshops, email Denise at volunteer@apirg.org

Keep an eye out for more great events from APIRG as part of their Alt-Sex-Ed series, including workshops on polyamory and love beyond gender with Janet Hardy, author of The Ethical Slut, a book on polyamorous relationships.
